NOTE: If you get your Prior Approval Form into the office before registering, and pay by phone with the CE office (706-737-1636) or by check, you will receive a 10% discount on any PLU course on this page.  This is only if you register with the office and only if we have your form on file.  It does not apply to the 'Course of the Month'.

The following online courses have been approved for PLU credit in Georgia (they are also open to the public for CEU credit)

 • All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end).

 • Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more.

 • You can complete any course entirely from your home or office. Any time of the day or night.

 •  You will be awarded 2 PLU Credits upon passing the final exam with a score of 75% or higher.

 •  Upcoming start dates: June 17, July 15, Aug 19, Sept 16

 •  In order to earn PLUs for these courses, the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GAPSC) requires that you submit a Prior Approval Form before the course begins, and a Course Completion Form after the course ends. Both forms are available to download below...

This course focuses on helping teachers learn to implement current best instructional practice in literacy in their classrooms. It will emphasize assessment and remediation for students experiencing literacy difficulties. This is the second course of the Reading Endorsement series.

Prerequisite(s): EDTD 6120 and Prior Approval Form from school to take this course for PLUs.
